THE ROYAL AIR FORCE CHARITABLE TRUST ENTERPRISES & AIRBOURNE 

The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises (RAFCTE) is proud to have been contracted by Eastbourne Borough Council to provide the Aircraft Operations elements of Airbourne – the Eastbourne International Airshow since 2002. Airbourne is the biggest free airshow in the UK, held annually along the Eastbourne seafront.

RAFCTE provide a Flying Display Director, a Flying Control Committee, Air Traffic Controllers and administrative support, all of whom work together to produce an exciting, safe four hour flying display for four days each August. Everything from sourcing and procuring the aircraft that will take part in the display to liaising with the Civil Aviation Authority, planning the flying program to producing documentation is carried out each year culminating in a spectacular seaside airshow.

With the knowledge, experience and contacts gained from running the Royal International Air Tattoo for over 35 years, RAFCTE finds that Airbourne complements the other events run by the company whilst providing challenging and rewarding work for the departments involved.
