The lights were turned on and the heat was turned up today as Aircrew Reception came online to accept the first aircraft arrivals. The most notable arrivals were the three USAF
F-22A Raptor’s which lightened up the day with a brief, but enthralling flypast and display. The day was also marked by the demo rehearsal of the 90th Anniversary celebrations which featured a breathtaking 90 strong flypast of RAF aircraft past, present and future.

On the showground, the build continued at impressive speed with power being rooted round to a number of the trading units. The decoration of many units was also completed with carpet and fittings being added and floral arrangements showered around the main entrances and throughout.
